With over 25 years in marketing, Erika is an integrated marketer specializing in gaining higher ROI from marketing investment through positions of brand strength, lead generation and quantitative key performance indicators. She currently serves as Vice-President, Strategy and Healthcare Partnerships for Back Pain Centers of America out of Atlanta, GA.

Previously, she was Senior Vice President of Marketing for Okyanos Heart Institute and the Laser Spine Institute (LSI), and Vice President and Executive Director running LSI’s Ambulatory Surgical Center in Philadelphia. While heading marketing departments, Erika helped two companies make the Inc. 500/5000 List of Fastest Growing Private Companies in the United States. In addition to healthcare, Erika served in executive roles for Sprint Corporation and Bell + Howell.

Erika also authored and taught the Marketing and Branding course at the University of California – Irvine and served on the faculty advisory board from 2005-2010. She has consulted globally for both public and private companies, largely in the healthcare services, biomedical and medical device spaces.

As a respected healthcare advocate and industry spokesperson, Erika has been interviewed by such media as The Wall Street Journal, USA Today, Fortune Magazine, Health Magazine and Entrepreneur Magazine. She has also made multiple appearances on MSNBC, CNN, The WB, ABC, NBC and CBS.

Erika has a B.A. and M.B.A. from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and a Master’s in Digital Marketing from the University of San Francisco. She completed executive education programs at Wharton School of Business and at Cornell University. Erika has lived or worked in six countries providing her with a global communications perspective.
