Spirit League

Mike, Laura and their family started Spirit League in 2015 as way for their teenage daughter, who has Autism, to make friends. It started humbly with 12 players. It has grown exponentially and now serves more than 100 teens and young adults with Special Needs. Spirit League uses basketball as a tool to help an entire community exercise together in a nurturing enviroment while building real relationships. We play year-round through a great partnership with the Town of Apex. Thanks also to our co-founders and many volunteers.
